The Disney Fantasy launched in 2012 as the twin to the Dream, sharing the same mid-size hull but with its own distinctive storybook elegance — Tangled, The Little Mermaid, and the Fantasy Tower Suite high in the ship's funnel. At 1,249 staterooms across 14 decks, the Fantasy is a slightly smaller and more intimate experience than the newer Triton-class ships, with its own loyal following.

Concierge Staterooms (1A–3A)
1A Concierge Royal Suite — The Crown Jewel
At 1,781 sq ft, this is the largest suite on the Fantasy — sleeping up to 8 guests across 3.5 bathrooms with a Queen bed, bunks, pull-down berth, and a private verandah. The Fantasy Tower Suite sits high in the ship's funnel with some of the most dramatic views on the fleet.
2A & 2B 1-Bedroom Suites
Both are 622 sq ft with 2 bathrooms and a private verandah. The 2A sleeps 5 (Queen + double sofa + pull-down); the 2B sleeps 4 (no pull-down berth). Full concierge access included with both.
3A Entry-Level Concierge with Verandah
306 sq ft with a private verandah, 1.5 baths, and all Concierge perks — private lounge, sun deck, priority boarding, and dedicated concierge service. The most attainable way onto the Concierge deck on the Fantasy.
Family Verandah Staterooms (4A–4E)
All 306 sq ft with 1.5 baths and a split bathroom for families of up to 5. Larger than the equivalent on Triton-class ships, which makes these rooms feel genuinely spacious.
4A & 4B Standard Family Verandah
Standard midship family verandah. The 4B typically has a slightly better position — always compare before booking at the same price.
4C Family Verandah (Navigator's Style)
DCL's enclosed Navigator's-style verandah — more wind protection, ideal for cooler itineraries or guests who find open balconies too breezy to use.
4E Family Verandah with Extended Aft Balcony — Community Favourite
Oversized aft verandah with unobstructed wake views. First to sell out at every booking window — book immediately if available and decide later.
Deluxe Verandah Staterooms (5A–7A)
246 sq ft for 3–4 guests with a split bath. Standard verandah rooms that represent the majority of the ship's cabin inventory.
5A, 5B & 5C Standard Deluxe Verandah
5A and 5B are midship; 5C is aft. All offer a private open verandah. Comparable locations — aft (5C) gives partial wake views at a similar price to 5A/5B.
6A & 6B Verandah with Partial Obstruction
A lower railing partially blocks the view when seated. Priced below 5A/5B — a reasonable trade-off if you want a verandah on a tighter budget.
7A Navigator's Verandah — Best Value Pick
246 sq ft with a semi-enclosed porthole-opening verandah, sleeping up to 3. Total privacy, excellent wind shelter, and almost always priced below a standard open verandah room. A favourite for couples.
Oceanview & Deluxe Inside Staterooms
The Fantasy (like the Dream) offers two no-verandah tiers below the verandah rooms: a standard Deluxe Oceanview and a unique Deluxe Inside tier — the latter being a larger-than-average inside room that's exclusive to this class.
8A, 8B, 8C & 9A–9D Deluxe Oceanview
All 204 sq ft with porthole or window views and no verandah. The 8-series rooms are on higher decks; the 9-series are forward and lower. No meaningful difference in experience — choose based on deck location and price.
10A, 10B & 10C Deluxe Inside — Hidden Value
At 204 sq ft with 1.5 baths, these Deluxe Inside rooms are larger than standard inside cabins (which are 169 sq ft) and feature the same room layout as the Deluxe Oceanview rooms — just without the porthole. The 10A and 10B sleep up to 4; 10C sleeps up to 3. If you don't need a window and want more space than a standard inside room, this is the best budget-upgrade pick on the ship.
Inside Staterooms (11A–11C)
169 sq ft with 1 bathroom — the most affordable option on the ship. Location is everything in this tier: midship is best for motion sickness and noise, Deck 2 is convenient for families.
11A, 11B & 11C Standard Inside
11A and 11B are midship with split baths and sleep up to 4. 11C is Deck 2 with a single bath, great proximity to the Oceaneer Club and Walt Disney Theater but with some noise risk. 11B midship is the best all-around inside pick.
